The people of the IPOB group have revealed that the ongoing court case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will not stop the fight to get Biafra land.
The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) made this known while replying to what Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said about Kanu’s trial, as he said that it would weaken the agitations of the group.
Emmanuel Powerful, who is the publicity secretary, made this known through a statement on October, 27, which is today. The group’s statement reads “The attention of the IPOB family, with leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has been drawn to the recent statement made by Garba Shehu, who’s the SSA Media to President Muhammadu Buhari as he said that the Court case of our leader will lead to the end of IPOB agitation.
We are surprised at the level of cluelessness and ignorance shown by Garba Shehu about the things our group is doing. So we want to tell him, assure him and his co-travellers that the court trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will rather destroy Nigeria and not our great group.
By kidnapping and renditioning Nnamdi Kanu, Nigeria has commited international crime and must be punished.
